We started Marlowe the Label with one question: why is it so hard to find a dress that works for a wedding in November and a Tuesday in February?
Most of the year here is warm. The wardrobe that suits it is smaller than it looks — a handful of shapes, in fabrics that move, that can be dressed up for an evening or worn flat with sandals the next morning. That is what we build the range around.
The edit
We are a dress label first. The range is organised the way people actually shop for one — by the occasion already in the diary, and by the length you feel like wearing.

Around the dresses sits a smaller edit of sets, tops, trousers and shoes, chosen to work with them rather than compete with them.
On fit
Sizing is where buying a dress online usually falls down, so we do the unglamorous part properly. Every product page carries a measurement chart in centimetres next to the equivalent Australian size. Most styles run from XS to XL, and a number of them extend to 5XL.
Our advice: measure a garment you already own and love, compare it against the chart, and order to the numbers rather than to the letter on the tag. If you are between sizes, take the larger one.
Getting it to you
We design for the Australian season — a range built for the months between September and February — and ship to addresses across Australia.
Standard shipping is free on orders of AU$69 or more. Below that, a flat rate is shown at checkout before you pay. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, and standard delivery is estimated at 6–8 business days after dispatch. A tracking link is emailed the moment your order leaves the fulfilment centre — Track Your Order explains what each update means.
If it isn't right
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. If it is the size or the colour that is wrong rather than the dress itself, get in touch — we would rather help you land on the right one than process a refund.
